Arson
I want to burn everything.
All of it.
All those verdammt papers.
They weigh so much more heavily on my mind than they should.
They're really only about half a gram each
or something
I don't really like math anyway
All those painful thoughts
and memories
I'd really like to forget
just a little
and fire is an incredibly effective
cleansing agent
All those people
who mean well
but break me more
than the ones who do not mean welI
I want what they said
to burn on the pyre of my life
as the rest burns
But fire is not how I solve my problems.
Alas, society frowns upon that a little.
They call it "arson."
I call it catharsis
and freedom
