The Art of Letting Go

The rain always fell closer to                                   you

than I ever was to your heart

I watched as you                                                   changed.

Distancing

Forgetting

Distracting

Never far enough,

but                                                                    I

tried to fix it knowing it was too late.

Maybe if I'd                                                        Listened

Hoped

 Prayed

I wouldn't have broken my fingers holding on         for

the thought that maybe…

But it became evident.

There was no                                                    Love.

                                                                     It's

                                                                     The

                                                                     Art

                                                                     of

                                                                     Letting

                                                                     Go.
