The art of letting go…

The art of letting go

It’s like a brush stroke to a canvas

You just let it flow

The agony of letting go

Is what keeps things afloat

But to keep floating on hope

Is asinine when there’s a lump in your throat

Tears streaming from your eyes to your face

Not quite sure of how things landed in such a dark place

Desiring space but yet needing a face to face

The art of letting go

It’s like sketching a drawing

Then scraping it

All of the lines

just didn’t fit

The fire to the flames wouldn’t stay lit

yearning

desires burned in a pit

To let go doesn’t mean you quit

You just couldn’t finish a painting

That didn’t making any sense

Though things maybe intense

It’s better to let go

Than to pretend

Just let it flow

in the end

The art of letting go
