The Art of Love

Dear Painter,

I am fire red

And blazing orange

You paint muted blues

Strokes of calming green

I am crashing waves

Smashing against rocks

You paint sailing ships

Strokes of calm seas

I am bolts of lightning

And skies streaked with grey

You paint sunrise

Strokes of yellow and light

I am hard edges

And shards of ice

You paint warmth

Strokes of melting water

Finally! The glacier melts

And my colors run

Creating a kaleidoscope

Blending us into the perfect painting

And the art of Love
