The Art of Scintillation
I am scintillating
I am the rose in your lapel that provides so much mystery
The cleverness behind chess...the difficulty..the history
I am growing each day, but yet still a child
I want to travel, explore, and drive myself wild
I am scintillating
I am the sparkle in your eye when you see someone you love
I am the rice at your wedding...the ring...the dove
I am Drake's lyrics because if you're reading this it's too late
I am at the happiest point in my life...the precise moment, time, and date
I am scintillating
I am the master of procrastination, yet I'm always just on time
I am too smart for my own good..nickel qualities but still a dime
I am my own worst critic
I am too hard on myself
I want much more in life and I'm not just talking wealth
I am scintillating
I am all of my hard times wrapped up in a bow
I am the dew on the ground left after a winter snow
I am my mother's, my brother's, and my sister's success
And without them, to tell you the truth,
I'm a straight mess
I am still in school, even though it seems I'll never finish
I feel that as soon as I'm done, all my problems will diminish
I am a world traveler, but I live in a small town
I have never been out the country, but I know my way around
I am sarcastic by nature. I am talented by trade.
I am your alarm clock in the morning. I am the brush of soft suede.
What I am not is an imposter, a fraud, a scheme, or a scam
I'm telling you all truths. I'm telling you who I am
I am scintillating
