Artemis

In darkness, how she wanes and pulls
Upon the weary salted tide,
A sweet celestial body found
Upon the lucid pinpricked sky;
The faded morning’s shallow light
Leaves her shadow hovering,
Silver shifting crescent moon,
Cradled weight of gravity.
