Arthur and Marilyn

He had the body of a Roman God But my physique was rather broad My eyes lit up like a computer screen in a dark room And I wished that one day he would be my groom But I knew it wasn't meant to be For a girl so awkward can't be with a guy so pristine His accent sounded like the sweetest symphony But as we were talking, I took an arrow to the knee I felt so nervous I became paralyzed And felt guilty looking into his dark, brooding eyes I knew I would be forever alone An old maid, and a lonely crone For pretty guys don't date ugly girls, and in conclusion I wish I could have been the Arthur to his Marilyn
