Artifacts

If it's gold or stone it matters not,

Shiny or dull, large or small.

If it's dusty, not clean, the more it's worth,

In pieces or whole, it just has to be old.

Whatever it is there is value to it

So long as there is a story to be told.

From age to age the things they left

Have given me some things to find.

From kingly tombs to arrowheads,

One day my life will revolve around

A dusty trowel and artifacts.
