Artifice

I hope that when you kiss her,

you taste the sorrow of her soul.

and I hope that it saadens you to the point,

you no longer watnt to exist.

Because you died to me long ago,

when your love rested on false promises.

You couldn't look me in the eye to tell me the truth.

Deceit paves way for destruction,

and you deserve the pain of the aftermath.
