The Artist

One stroke after another, on a blank surface

I give life to creatures,

                                       plants,

                                                    and people.

The brush,                                              moves around the place

                     an extension of my arm,

and colors things: red, orange, or even purple!

If you give me a canvas or a piece of paper...

                                                       ...then I'll give it meaning,

for nothing makes me feel better...

                                                             ...than making even more paintings!
