The Artist

As I take a blank piece of surface

Everyone's eyes widen in awe waiting,

Waiting to see what wonders I will

Welcme onto ts surface. While I place

A stick like object in my grasp everyone

Gasps. I dipped the object in a liquid hue

And began. Line after line, color after

Color, stroke after stroke. What once

Used to be a blank piece of surface is

Now life beginning to grow. As the image

Progresses the others; DaVici, Picasso,

Van Gogh, envy all its curves and all its

Edges. As I kept the progression I

Commenced to hear sniffles and sobs.

After I finished the progressio I leisurely

Took a step back to behlold the wonders I

Wecomed onto its once dull surface.
