Artistic Talent

To see other people's art

It secretly infuriates me

Talent seems to have passed me by

I was the last in line at the srtistic ability giveaway

The final pick for the artist roster

All of these individuals who simply have to doodle

to achieve masterpieces,

I cannot stand you putting your own picture down

You have a gift that I would kill for,

Almost literally

You can have this eloquence of mine

and the ability to weave worlds with words

Your power over art is much more astounding

and twice as powerful

'Cause they say

A picture is worth a thousand words

So if I write a thousand novels

By that logic I should be close to your talent

Now please don't complain any longer

Take it from a silently envious person

You have a talent worth millions.
