Inspiration is a learned skill.

An artist learns to look for it and form it out of nothing.

Being inspired comes from personally knowing where to look,

It comes from knowing how to form what you see into a refined outcome.

It can take a while to master, but being inspired can be learned.

However I also believe inspiration is a choice.

Anyone can see the beauty in the details, we all have an emotional connection to something.

But those who choose to use nothing-

The ones who laugh at writer’s block

Who sing when there are no words

Who paint simply to fill the empty void-

Those are the inspired. 

To get up and tell yourself that you will make something beautiful despite life’s circumstances, 

That is true inspiration.
