The Arts

One job that would change my life would be one where I can make the come alive. I realize that not everyone or every school district has a working arts system. So I want to build a after school system that will give the kids not only an outlet but an opportunity to express themselves in ways that they might not have ever thought. I want to have a school filled with a band, orchestra, choir, drawing and painting, photography, dance and theater. I want kids to commit to the program so that they can find out if there is a side to them that they never new before. This is so near and dear to my heart because I'm am arts geek, I sing, dance and act. I have taking drawing, ceramics, jewlery classes, and I played the chello. I have dispensed my finger in each part of the arts and I am In love with it. I wouldn't want a kid to have never played an instrument or never drawn a picture and bottle it up inside. The arts is something that is very important to kids not only for the joy and creativity of it but also because it is scientifically proven that the arts help kids. Another reason I would love this job is because of my love for kids. I moved about 4 times in my life and one thing that kept me saine was the arts. When you don't have any friends it takes a toll on you. But being able to be in choir ever time helped me gave friends and helped me by keeping me company when people were not there to. Even when I was young children were of a lot if intrest to me.  If I have only one job that would keep me afloat and would drastically change my life it would be to open a arts school.
