Artwork Selfie

I am a piece of art

A masterpiece created by chaos

A picture with warrior paint

That dates back to my Native American roots

From the maple leafs to the cowboy boots

This canvas has had some wear and tear

To some, I need a filter

Only to make me "look better"

But I like the natural look

I don't need a filter

I was created to be me

Not me with a cover

I am a masterpiece painted by the works of life

From my piercing blue eyes

To my pale skin and dark brown hair

I don't need a filter

To show off my natural self

I can selfie just fine

Simply because,

I am a piece of art
