Ashamed

Location

Hustling, bustling with great sound

Among halls that should be streaming

You see a crowed drawn all around

And hear loud voices ringing

People laugh and people point

At a girl that society had claimed

You didn’t mean to disappoint,

But you scuttled away ashamed

Days weeks and months have passed

‘Til one day you hear the tragic news

She pulled the trigger; is of the past

Yourself sadly, pitifully you accuse

People laugh and people point

At a girl that society had claimed

You didn’t mean to disappoint,

But you scuttled away ashamed

For years you have tried to forget

There were things you could’ve done

Finally you can’t handle the regret

And did the same with that gun

People laugh and people point

At a girl that society had claimed

You didn’t mean to disappoint,

But you scuttled away ashamed -

Now you wish you hadn’t been ashamed.

There are many people all over the world who struggle with sucide, and I just want everyone to know that it does hurt your family and your friends.
