Ashes

Fighting to keep the past behind Fighting to keep the ground underneath my feet While all around the world dissolves to ashes All around me While you're running from shadows in your head While you're holding tight to everything he said But he left you here for dead That's all he wrote. That's all he ever said Missed chances Dead trees and fallen branches Take my hand and don't look back Forget your fears and just let go Let go. Subtle glances Dead trees and fallen branches Why'd you have to wait for years I wish that you had let me know Let me know Before the earth stopped spinning and the world turned to ashes

Lullabeth

I'm an 18 year old writer who has been writing for as long as I can remember. From short stories, fanfiction, and poetry to song lyrics and music composition, I manage to keep my self constantly busy all day and all night. But I enjoy it. Writing is my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
