Ashes

Inflicting such a pain upon yourself, leaving behind nothing but these forsaken ashes

You were the one to cause it, thus the fixing of it is the responsibility that within your hands it crashes

To suffice that control that’s needed, is not meant to be the task of mere head lifting simplicity

The laboriousness that fills it to the depths and up to the rims, it might as well drive you to your own insanity

It wasn’t ever said to be so easy, to be shaped just the way you want it, in the measly blink of an eye

No, no there is not a single soul left, not a single being within existence to hear that meager distressful cry

It is the time to gather yourself up, harness those skirts tightly around you, starting with a single step

Move on towards the brighter side; fill yourself with dexterousness that you once lacked; a fool so inept

Congratulate yourself to such proceedings; you’ve finally learnt of the ways of those not caring

But it was you who brought yourself to such an immaculate under bearing

Many superiorities have left you groveling in the dust of the horrendous past that has befallen you

Yet you have managed the impossible and destroyed the universe placed at your feet as if on the implacable cue

Such a hue that shrouds you, such blue that clouds you, this ocean of despair that envelopes then drowns you

Those continuous shallow breathes that make their way to your pitiful lungs, a sharp flow of cold air seeps into your heat

Didn’t you ever think that you would go out and be able to accomplish such a woeful feat?

Now that you have, and it brings you down, you’re saddened by your own pathetic demise

Such loathe and hate transpires your uncanny eccentric rise

Aiming for the top where nothing else lies

Trying to go beyond suck meek human caliber

Falling to the mystique of the throat slicing Excalibur

And as it cuts through you, the cold steel opening up the flesh so burnt inside

They all know nothing can be done now, no matter how much you bear to confide

All this repulsive revulsion, it’s become the controller of the soul you should have the right to call yours

Pushing you down below into the depth of the unholy ground forcing you on all fours

Choking, spewing, and coughing up ravishing amounts of nerve racking blood

The ship of your conscious that was once afloat now sinks within the red ocean flood

You’re signaled off into the depths of the cruel dark void of unconsciousness

Are you going to accept and bear to fall into the darkness of your incompetence?

So useless and pathetic, had so much just to lose it all

A single swipe and it was all gone, acceptance is what you now thrall

Come to think of it, was it not deserved, such rectitude was never meant to be the aura placed around you

You’re left here to stand alone, with nothing but the last adieu
