Ashes to Ashes

Burned to ashes, After taking so many lashes. My back permanetly marred My past has been scarred. Memories a painful sore Visiting them I do no more. From the ashes I am Never to return again To places I have been Or friends that turned in the end. Memories are fading away More with each new day... Createing a new life my way. Burned to ashes I have been From the ashes I am born again.

From the ashes I am. One definition of the name Cindy is "Little one from the ashes" I have recreated myself out of the ashes of my life several times. It's not something I would reccomend for the weak hearted to attempt, but to those who's rug has been pulled out from under them & tossed to the flames I say...BUILD AGAIN!
