Ashes From The Poets Mouth
lo, I shall dream for thee…A catastrophe- for the ages
just simple words, so often heard, ...but empires have fallen for less than this
lo, I shall preach to thee…of Tragedy -Prophesied for ages
Just empty words, but they are heard …and you hang, on ev'ry lie!
Oh most reverent, glorious overlord, Majesty, I am at thy feet
truly omnipotent thou, I am thy humble servant
I will write for you a story, timelessness, befitting your glory,
your wish my command…you'll be remembered forever.
Look upon my works, O ye Mighty and Despair!!! for I hath wrought thy doom.
thy commission, your epic complete. The earth will quake when your kingdom fall,
and the waves of your death will shake the world forever!…for the sake of a crown!!
Lo, I shall slave for thee …Thine ecstasy, my hatred
just careless words, so often heard …but your empire shall fall for this
Lo, you beseecheth me …for immortality, so you spaketh
Just a single word, but for it you'll burn …in death, your eternal life!
Oh most reverent, glorious overlord, Majesty, at my feet
truly omnipotent thou, I was thy humble servant
I have written you a story, timeless, befitting your glory,
your wish my command…you'll be remembered forever.
Look upon thy Works, O ye Sinner and Despair!!! for you hath wrought thy doom.
Thy commission, my revenge complete. The earth quakes as your kindom falls,
and your life and your death have shaped the world forever!...buried 'neath your broken crown!!
The words I speak,
the lies I breath,
the death I reap,
for you my king
The word I sing,
the death I bring
will forever ring,
for you my king
Laughing you drink the wine
and eat the fruit of poisoned tree.
Then comes the beautiful moment
of horror in your eyes.
Choking on ashes
from the poet's mouth
Lo, I dreamed for thee ...a catastrophe, for the ages
Just simple words, so often heard- but your empire fell
for less than this.
