Ashes In The Wind

I remember it as if it was yesterday

the fire alarm was going off and the

scanner going crazy saying that “old

Victorian house was indulged in flames”

I then hear the fire trucks leaving the station

in the distance. I then hop in my car o see

where the fire was at. As I begin to approach

I pull my car over and get out and start walking

and that is when I see it a black/orange fairy on

the ground, So I bend down and pick it off the

ground and I asked it “what happened”, it told

me that “it was just flying until the wind blew

and lit me up”. I then ask “what kind of fairy

she was?” and she told me that “she was an ash

fire fairy and that she lights up every time the

wind blows.”. She said that “she didn’t mean

to start the fire it just happens when the wind

blows.” “so can you please let me go so that

I can be ashes in the wind once more.”. I then

take a breath of air and let it go in my hands

so the fairy can be ashes in the wind once more,

and then I see the fire trucks returning to the

station.
