The Aspects of Love to Duly Note

My crinkly hands and your bleeding knee

I clean your wound, and let you run free

You laugh and smile, unafraid of the world

Unbeknownst to you that you are my pearl.

Such is the world of a lover, not a warden

Tis' the same for all lovers, from Rome to Jordan

A true love is wholly unconditional

Whether it be siblings, or nontraditional.

Love is based on communication and care

Love those who invigorate you, not scare

Enter into your heart someone who is rare

Intimacy is wholehearted affair.

Thus the aspects of love to duly note

Come from those who treasure you and dote

Who believe and trust and support your choices

Through your sadness, cries, and glee, rejoices.

Absolute love always holds to be true

It is unconditional, without much ado.

Our best love ameliorates us too

For you, only the best, because I love you.
