An Assassin's Game

As the sun fell behind the trees,

So began a night that would star me.

Ladies and gents entered the hall,

Excited to attend the brimming ball.

Slowly I entered, dressed to the nines,

Entering under a trellis filled with vines.

Casually, I cased the elegant room,

Searcing for my victim that would go to his doom.

I saunterd over to him with a sly smile,

Ready to slip him something quite vile.

He eagerly fell into my vicious trap,

As the poison fell with a tiny tap.

Quite suddenly he drank from his cup,

It was then I decided to quickly back up.

As soon as I left, he fell to his knees,

I reached the ourdoors and felt a faint breeze.

People started rushing from place to place,

I finished a mission with a smile on my face.
