Atelophobia

Pronounced A-TEL-O-PHO-BIA; denounced all that was given to me-

A rare disease which has no ease; causes cries of pleas as you fail to please..

Please, stop dwelling on you imperfections.

Even if you're not elected in your internal elections.

Remember, recognising your imperfection in itself is perfection.

A-telo-phobia. The fear of not being good enough.

Yes, the realization that life is rough; but when the going gets tough the tough gets going.

Going to where? I can't go anywhere knowing-

I have no support, no one to push me.

Yes, no O-N-E to P-U-S-H  M-E!

Tese ain't some letters put together to make a word,

and these ain't just a group of words to make me sound like a bird.

These words don't rhyme just because I had no time to "lime!"

No! These words were formed because the worst feeling in the world is to know you're just a "NORM."

Because knowing oyu did the best you could, yet you best wasn't good enough.

And knowing what wasn't good enough, is just flung into the big pile of "STUFF."

But; then came my turning point.

When I realized all my attributes were fittly joint....

When I asked myself, "What's the point in being pointless?'

And something answers, "Less than the point.."

It continued, "Stop looking for the magic; you're it!"

And as I paused form commencing a fit, I finally realized I was actually worth it!

Realized, regardless of what you say the conclusion is mine.

Yes, your opinion and mine no longer intertwine!

So now I'm no longer Aelophobia PO-SI-TIVE, but NEG-A-TIVE.

No longer titled "To exist," but permitted "To live."

Finally realizing that life is the gift; trials and temptations being the strainer to slowly sift-

Those who gave up to those who stood tall.

Those who thought red meant to stop and those who continued giving their all.

Those who spun like a top and those who answered the call.

I've finally come to a warped conclusion.

All my life I'd been living in a damn illusion..

Until I finally decided to put an end to the confusion.

I can go on and on but time will not permit.

One thing's for sure, if I could've dug myself out of my pit,

Then I won't permit you to sit there and assume "God's gonna come 'HELP YOU'!"

Nevermind me, I know I may look like an elf, but know that God only helps those who help themself

I'll leave it up to you to believe if this is true and attempt to redress your mess,

Or to remain there; lifeless, worthless..

While I'm here living A-TEL-O-PHO-BIA-less...
