She was Athena 

Number 1 in her class

President of the Debate team

Secretary of Honor’s Society

She was a goddess 

She was Athena 

Walking the halls with no care 

She knew she would be the change in the world for all females

Her mind wandered like leaves in the wind

Her beauty was unlike any other

Voices talked over her called her names

But she knew that they were jealous of her name

Because at the end of day

She knew it all

She understood it all

And she would fix it all
