Athena, Goddess of Video Games

She leans forward in her chair;
sweaty palms and flightful eyes.
Her focus is all on
                                  the screen in front of her.
She doesn't blink as the blocks fall down,
The piece she desires
                                   doesn't come.

But a thousand years have taught her well
                                                                     that patience yields results.
The piece comes
                               and she slams it into its proper place.

From the battlefields to the video game tournaments,
                                                                                       Athena reigns supreme.
