Atomic Components Invasion

Atoms were everything

From the world to the smallest string.

But now that we know things tinier

We will never be the same, sir.

Elemental Units

Atoms are the most basic of it.

But now there is more to them

Than we will ever discover in Chem.

Looking into the atom

Empty space makes it look glum.

The nucleus is the central region

That has most of the atom’s mass, like the sun!

Electron particles are negative.

Contrasting, protons are positive.

The neutron has no charge at all.

All of these are found in the atom ball.

The nucleus contains protons

And a few neutrons as well.

These quantities matter

Because they determine some more.

Atomic mass number is one.

It is the protons plus neutrons.

Another is atomic number

Which depends on proton amount answer.

And then there’s the isotope.

It would leave you hanging like rope.

They are the same element arranged.

Neutron amount’s the only thing changed.

Electron particles are negative.

Contrasting, protons are positive.

The neutron has no charge at all.

All of these are found in the atom ball.

So now you know the current world

More complex than it has ever swirled.

Will it ever return

To the world that had less to learn?

Electron particles are negative.

Contrasting, protons are positive.

The neutron has no charge at all.

All of these are found in the atom ball.

So now you know the current world.

More complex than it has ever swirled.

Will it ever return

To the world that had less to learn?
