Attention

It isn't enough I thought as I threaded through the darkness

In my own mind all of the pain and suffering wasn't my fault

But I couldn't help but think, will they believe me if something worse happens?

I have needles in my hands but someone has one thousand more

The questions plays over and over in my head

Is this enough? Is this enough for them to know i'm not being dramatic

I need more and maybe they'll believe me. Maybe for the first time i'll be heard
