Attitude Is Everything

Mountains of feelings have been poured out in front of me 

The yelling, the arguing, the stuff we cant leave be

That stuff happens when a loved one is feeling blue 

You cant help but think the one to blame is you 

But you are not the source of sorrow 

Your loved one has not accepted the universes choices

The key is to listen to your soul, those voices

They tell you to get over it 

They tell you to stay strong 

They can bring light into a moment of wrong 

Those voices are important 

They send an imperative message 

To find positivity in all struggles

To learn to laugh in times of trouble 

Those voices, that positivity

Is all that I would need 

On an island of just me
