Attracted to _____?

Since the beginning

I've been lured by

burns and cuts and pain

and people who inflict such distraction

on

me.

and to this day I couldn't tell you why I

Have this history of

craving those who push me away

those who

lie and

cheat and

tease.

but this new feeling of feeling

wanted

needed

by someone who could stand on top of a parking garage

in the middle of the day

with a coffee in one hand

who could talk about the universe

and all its miracles

and past lives and animals and human stupidity and ignorance

seems so foreign.

could I possibly be falling for someone

who is willing

to catch me?
