Auditory electricity

I listen to music Rock or lofi, pop or punk Near constantly Because each song has life And a shred of soul Each holds feelings Electricity to flow through my mechanical heart That forgets to beat without this auditory art As I stare at ceilings Wishing to feel whole Wondering why it seems that all I ever feel is strife And all I ever seem to see is adversity Thinking back to the 5 year old sitting on the top bunk Who had yet to loose it
