Auditory Flood
An auditory flood
Washing over me
Colors flashing in my blood
Sarcasm to sincerity
I've been reduced
To baser instincts
Like an everlasting drum
Beating in the background of our collective unconscious
Sometimes I doubt it's still contained in my ears
Because it paints my surroundings with a mood
Suddenly a warm glow flows over my peers
I start to, once more, believe in their inherent good
