Alone but surrounded
Emptiness cascaded through my blood
My heart was a scorching storm
Beating to every word
Beating to every footstep.
Alone but surrounded
Surrounded by loving hearts
Gentle hugs
My eyes were waterfalls
Streaming to the end of time.
Alone but surrounded
I could never wake up
This nightmare was no dream of mine
Pain soared through my fingertips
Like a lion, it roared
No More
No More
Alone but surrounded
Someone wake me up
Wake me up from this nightmare
Alone but surrounded
Wind cutting through my veins
Pitter, Patter
Rain buckled on the pavement
The day was here
Mother Nature even knew
Storm clouds grew closer
Nothing could break the spell
Alone but surrounded
One flower
No longer bloomed
One soul
No longer lived
Like the moon without the stars
Forever,
Darkness Flourished.
