aura

I often sit up and long to sleep

I do not lack rest

not a tired feeling

but a yearning to dream

a moment to escape the realities

a second to conjure up a new life

my happiest moments spent tirelessly daydreaming

displaying the life I picture myself to have

wishing that I could  somehow achieve this…

although the past does not permit change

the present, all the while sitting idly by as life comes to pass

I, but a tiny blip on the worlds spectrum

a single person on a planet filled with 7 billion other beings

feel

so

alone..

so solitary

so singular

so separate

so specifically peculiar

so just me

I dream of a world filled with other me’s

and not to confuse

not to seem magnanimous

but I seem to be the only one who understands me

so for the ease of my soul, i need to be surrounded with what only I can fathom.
