Authentic Love
Authentic love looks like freedom.
It looks like loving someone enough to allow them to grow into their truest form.
Giving the support and freedom to your partner to allow them to be themselves.
There is no judgement.
There is no ego.
There is no control...
There is Trust. And Vulnerability. And secrets kept. And warm embraces.
Authentic love is nurturing and healing.
Lust is true love's shadow. Not enough dimension to see all of loves components.
Lust is only one color. But authentic love is a beautiful painting that tells the story of two souls merging in unity.
Two lovers content to sit in silence, feeling everything unspoken.
It looks like partnership, companionship, relationship, friendship...
A love that gives back until both cups are full.
Authentic love looks like ocurtesy and gentle truths.
Bitten tongues and hurt feelings is love misguided, drowning in shallow water and hidden behind the shadows of the ego.
Authentic love honours both the masculine and the feminine.
Give and take.
Push and pull.
It has its highs and lows, but the tides of love will always wash away the debris to leave you, once again, on loves shore.
Where is this love?
Don't hide from me, love.
