Authentically Raw material

Mystical Nights Heavy Vibes and Atmosphere

Dodging the social sterotypes yet trying not to dissapear

Adopting Social ignorance

or arrogance

I've become a product of my society

otherwise they're calling me

 An outcast?

because they fail to recognize

the power that lies

inside of me.

Bound to face ridicule

and racial injustice

ostrosizing my inner phlebotomy

one nation under God, small g

the irony

Strip me of my identity maybe you can see within me

cause looking at me from a distance you couldn't see me coming

I was actually running

while the guitar was strumming

now the djembe drum is beating slowly

harmonizing with the sunrise and a blue jay humming.

Words to complex in my mind to express

in a form so diluted preferably polluted for man to understand

Clyde Davis the latest and the greatest

our minds are trouble by emptiness

So do you young world

feel free

feel free for me

free from who I used to be

free from unforgiveness

free from anything that may have been pressing me.

Free to pose to question WHO EXACTLY ARE WE?

Pause for Trayvon's Cause, I wrote this with no thesis, no clause no bars

slow motioned the ink in my pen

I await for the time where we all will live free from sin

when the armageddon come will we be free again

or will we run?

Bijangiovanni, I'm really feeling this! Your poem screams "BE YOURSELF!" and I absolutely love it! When you wrote "one nation under God, small g " I got the chills. There is so much truth in that one sentence; so much to reflect upon! Your level of inspiration is very hard to achieve so I congratulate you on reaching such heights! The emotion in this poem is... truly felt due to your careful choice of words. Amazing piece!
