AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Woman has her self
and autobiography as well,
containing the scars
of the primordial mother.
She is not in those pages
thought to be written by her.
She thinks of writing
the autobiography
as an autobiography.
They are under the impression
that she is not writing
because of apprehension.
What is to be achieved
by scratching a healed wound
or by defacing pretty faces?
Whatever written
has become fiction
and continues to read
the unwritten autobiography.
The autobiography
which she thought of writing
gets burnt
in the experiment with truth.
