Autumn

The colors of autumn So vast and full As the trees Are claimed by cold Their young leaves Will fall to rest We adored the bright greens Lavishing on hot summer days And will pass as the seasons go - But in this cycle This passing, this death These leaves hold great beauty With the colors they bare Just another part of life For us to view some things The more important things As a whole - Seasons come and go Just like day and night An example of how we must cherish This life we can lead Because this nature is in all of us It is all around us It is within us And its ideas and teachings Take place in many walks of life People in our lives They will come and go Family will die off As knew relatives will grow Our goals will change And our feelings too Everything has its time Life always in a cycle

Longboard_Man

I've been writing poetry for about two years now, I just finished my first year at Purdue and I am a gymnast, parkour enthusiast, longboarder and I do pretty much every other extreme sport, and I adore nature.
