Autumn

As I walked on a cold December evening

a small leaf

dancing in the wind

as it slowly fell

reminded me of you

reminded me of me

A leaf that once

had witnessed our love

our only witness

A couple walking slowly

as they were looking

at each other for love

A leaf changed

from green, to yellow

and maybe to brown

Just like a leaf

our love might change

but it will never

go away...
