AUTUMN FLAVORING

Autumn Flavoring: by Paul Gray

What is this flavor on my taste buds lingering
When autumn brings her morning cool surprise
I wake and taste her lips with remnants mingling
From dreams of gazing deep within her eyes

As morning brings along with fond remembrance
Where dreams again united her and me
Revive again in me a hope with temperance
That some day soon again her face I'll see
