Autumn's Embrace

Here begins a time

When colors burst in mighty hues

Where things change once more

When in everything beauty shines

Here begins a new season

Where life can turn around

For better or for worse

A marriage of new and old

A time when winds race

To knowhere in particular

When seas recede

To come back stronger

A time when nature truly shows itself

Out of Four

Only Once

This it does every year

A time of Thanksgiving

Before Winter's cold Touch

After Summer's heated Gaze

Right into Autumn's Embrace

TheGentlemanPoet

I am 20 years old and I am short with reddish brown hair. I love to write and read poetry and its always been a passion for me. I express how I feel through my words and really this is the only way I can. (Just a little note, I had a previous account that I deleted so a lot of my poems might be recognized by some of you.)
