Autumn's Looming Silhouette

It’s July, but my soul is already drifting to frost. I crave the autumn mist, the comforting nostalgia of old shows, and the quiet thrill of shedding a past version of myself with the falling leaves. It’s a beautifully melancholic season for reinvention, and I can't wait to emerge anew. In July’s bright heat, my spirit stalls, Yearning for frost, and the whisper of fall. I crave the coziness, the early mist, The Starbucks cups and the season's kiss. Rewatching favorites in the amber glow, Dressed in layers, waiting for snow. I miss the rain’s soft, rhythmic dance, A sweet, melancholic, sweet romance. A comforting sadness that heals the soul, As falling leaves remind me to let go. With every drift, a piece of me clears, Shedding the weight of the previous year's fears. By winter's chill, I am paved anew, Ready for growth and the changing view. Stagnation scares me, the very same, I love to evolve, to never be the same. Oh, how I yearn for the winter's bite, And the magic of fall's transforming light.
