Ave Maria Mine

Ave Maria Mine

Gentle as the snowflake's fall

my prayer rests upon thy shawl.

Gentle as the butterfly wing,

my prayer i wish to sing.

As Callas' Ave upon thine ear

tempt with thy glorious, holy tear,

my fragile voice in templets painted,

golden rose and amber tinted.

Wished within those holy places,

My soul longs for your embraces.

Music's amored lovely laughter,

soothes the voiceless coarsest matter.

Fettered notes, unfettered offering.

Music's tear of heart's sweet longing.

Traverse thy distant Heaven's spaces,

and soothes thy holy, wounded traces.
