Average.

It’s been said a thousand times,

“my score doesn’t define me,

My GPA doesn’t define me”

But when will it actually be understood?

There’s so much more

beyond the bland colors of my schooling.

I am more than just an average student

I am more than you probably understand

But they will never see it.

All they see is an average student,

at an average school.
