average day
living life day by day
acquiring information of the world
acquiring information of your peers
trying to acquire information of yourself but just can't.
driving home the same route,
going home and taking a nap while watching tv everyday,
driving back to school,
participating in that one extracurricular activity that looks good to colleges,
driving back home the same route.
receives a lecture from your parents about your weight and grades that seems to disappoint your parents
same o' same o'
living day by day with no idea of who you are what have you done with yourself.
sitting on your bed wondering if you've made an impact in anyone's life.
wondering if your parents have resentment of allowing you so much freedom.
being there and realizing that everyday is just a routine, nothing different.
nothing seems to be different.
then thoughts surge through your mind:
why am i here?
i'm not important?
there is no meaning to this life i live?
no one will miss me?
is it time to sleep forever and never wake up?
cautiously holding that bottle of pills in your hands, as rivers stroll down down your cheek bone.
admiring the cuts on your forearms that have never been healed, and left permanent scars.
counting the amount of friends you can contact for in-explainable help at that instant, but realize there are none.
is it over? will the pain go away? no more disappointment after i depart for my long journey? will i be happy on the other side?
only one way to find out...
