This is for the average kids
Hey Teacher, it's me, the student you don't know
sits in this seat
literally under your nose,
who would have known?
that out three hundred plus students,
one gets by,
unrecognized, unattached.
I turn in all my work,
pass the occasional test,
too bad I'm just average,
and neither excelling nor failing
like the rest.
If you have an F,
you have services available
if you have an A,
there are rewards available
for the kid with the C,
they get nothing relatable.
Neither encourage to improve,
or warned not to get worse.
Average kids, get no attention,
because there is none left,
this is the curse.
We have a remedial and a honors program
but what the kids who just do the task at hand?
And nothing more and nothing less,
unforunately you're just average and get no concern,
no attention, like the rest.
