Awaiting love

He's once again there, waiting,

And hoping that somehow

The fate would deem it worthy

For them to make a vow.

And though it seems unsightly,

And it is frowned upon,

He cannot help those feelings

Of his that overflow.

For he is just a human,

As hopeless as can be;

And she's the only woman

He loves wholeheartedly.

But even if he tries

To go against his fate;

It so appears, her eyes,

Will only show him hate.

So he'll be always waiting,

For her to come around,

To end her constant hating,

Together to be bound.
