Awake

Night seems dreary and rather dark,

Light radiating only from moon, planets, the stars

I see through my window.

When sleep subsides,

I will be whole again.

But, until then, I will wait,

Counting sheep, blessings.

Flipping over until I feel comfortable.

I wait, awake.
