Awake Tonight

As I lay there, Wrapped in the security of your arms, I share the secrets I've been keeping. ~}{~ As I whisper quietly, the tales of my misforutne, I wonder if you wish I were still sleeping. ~}{~ With fear in my eyes, and pain in my heart, I lean into you more, and find just the place to start. ~}{~ As I fight the urge to take it all back, I swallow hard and keep talking, and hope that if I get it all out, Away, I won't see you walking. ~}{~ Without you here, I wonder now, If what I did was right, if what I had to say to you, Will keep you up at night. ~}{~ I hope that all I had to share, didn't come on much too strong. I hope that all my secrets, won't make you move along. ~}{~ As I lay here, without you now, I wonder if all's alright, and if the secrets I shared with you, Have you too, lying awake tonight. ~}{~
