Awakening

Breathless,

prematurely snatched from a dream

an alternate reality, a what could be

glimpses,

a place of belonging, a hole no key

passion, happiness, a soul set free

hope, future, positive possibilities

Longing, sickening

again to feel fated quickening

Fire raging not flickering

chances

glances

Beautiful eyes

answers

out there, laid bare

all the time, everything, everywhere

half a lifetime to give

path to share

Revel in play

smile and laugh

seize the day, effortless graft

with care, feet forward

in prayer, head towards

what could be......

Ishrahnai

Just a guy, now 40+. Grew up by the sea in Cornwall. Lead a colourful life. My three eyes are wide open as is my mind. To see the world or ‘society’ for what it is and still find beauty in nature, people, events is a powerful thing. To believe in random acts of kindness, try to see through others eyes. Live and let live but more, try to spread positivity, awareness and love.
